Is financial aid available?
YES!! It is the desire of the board of Olney Christian School to provide high-quality education at a cost that families in our community can afford. Please apply even if you think a private school is more than you can afford!
Please also apply for outside financial assistance as described on our Scholarships page.
How will financial aid be determined?
Based on income, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Will you offer specials like art and music?
Yes! We want to encourage students in their many gifts and talents!
Will you require uniforms?
Yes.
What about transportation?
The school district provides free busing to students within 10 miles of the school in Philadelphia.
What is your philosophy of education?
Head– Olney Christian School meets the diverse needs of our student population and holds them to high academic expectations while teaching them to love learning in every area of their lives and incorporating a Christ-centered worldview throughout the curriculum.
Heart– Following Biblical examples of community, each member of the classroom has an important role. We interact with one another and resolve conflict Biblically and encourage our students into a deeper understanding of God through his son Jesus Christ.
Hand– Our hands reach out to succeed and serve in our communities. At Olney Christian School we do this as a school and hope to prepare our students to do this in their lives, working with their families whenever possible.

How will you ensure the safety of my child?
All staff and faculty must have current child abuse clearances. Visitors will not be allowed in the building without a staff or faculty member chaperoning them.
Windows will be open indoors to classrooms and staff/faculty will maintain an open door policy if in a room without windows and/or working one-on-one with students.
In addition, we will work proactively to prevent bullying and will not allow children to continue this behavior; children who do not display a change in heart and behavior will not be allowed to continue attending the school
